I watched Hedgehog, a French movie based on one of my favorite novels The Elegance of the Hedgehog. It was a wonderful movie, just like it was a wonderful book. Then I watched You and Me and Everyone we Know directed and written by Miranda July, based on her book by the same title. At times it was emotionally difficult, but the movie was somehow sweeter than I remember the book being--the stories are about our modern societies difficulty to connect.
Non sequitur: Charles knew a kid named Dick Wong who peed every day in school.
I wanted to go on a hike, but on Saturday we got rained in and I was glad.
I wanted to go to the Greek festival but, we got rained in and I was glad.
I'm continuing my theme of watching movies based on books I've read. Tonight I will watch Jesus' Son. I think Denis Johnson has influenced my writing more than any other writer. I love him so much.
I have a class that is really hard...Other than that, I love school this year.
Blessings,
Erica

I love you.
:)
Poor Dick Wong.
I want to hear about the "hard" class. Probably a whole class full of Dick Wongs.
Either Dick Wongs or Ferkers (my please-prove-you're-not-a-robot word for this comment). I love all you girls.
