Ocean boy drove in Sunday at 1:00 a.m. after fourteen hours on 1-80.
He first met Anne in facebook city, then in person at the Dulles airport. They bonded over Kinder Eggs and schnitzel in a German monastery. They keep saying hello and goodbye in cities like Aldenhoven, Cologne, Berlin, Potsdam, D.C., and now the Salt Lake Valley.
They aren't exchange students anymore; just regular old teenagers in their home land. They aren't afraid of traveling across a couple states, or a country, or the world to see each other.
Ocean boy told us how he thought he was Japanese until he was five years old.
He told us about his C-R-A-Z-Y year in Germany.
He told us about the Pacific and how he loves it.
And he kisses Anne when I am not looking.

Don't you kind of miss those kinds of relationships? Not that marriage isn't fabulous, but there's something nostalgic about watching someone you love fall in love.
Also, my mom always had nicknames for the boys in my life (i.e. Hair Boy). Love it.
and i am so happy!
So it's on! What a great pic! And I have your shampoo...
He kisses everyone when you're not looking.
