I missed Anne's prom night so that I could run the Canyonlands half marathon. Chantel got Anne ready instead.
Chantel did a better job than I could have done. She has perfect patience for shoes, and necklaces, and eye shadow, and what purse to carry. Where I ask, will it work? Chantel asks, will it dazzle? And dazzle Anne did.

I feel the same way about that kind of stuff with Rian. I mean, why can't she just use a paper bag as her purse? Tennis shoes don't go with a prom dress? why not?

Did you get massaged & stretched after the race? I was down there, working the massage tables. I wonder if you were the same Erica I worked on, not realizing it was you... Congrats on the run, by the way. It definitely takes an insane amount of discipline & effort. But you don't need me telling you that. :)
