So many people to love.
In Sugar House there was once this college girl running past my house toward the bus stop, but she was too late and missed the bus. I was also headed to the University of Utah so asked if she needed a ride, and she happily hopped in my car. Turns out she worked at Great Harvest Bread. So, for the next several years, when I would hop into Great Harvest for some bread, she'd charge me .50 cents per loaf. I got 4 loaves of bread for 2 dollars. I think about that girl sometimes and her bright eyes and nose ring. I think about how she told me once she grew up in Europe and remembers traveling to castles, museums, and gardens, but in her memory she never knows where she was, what country, or what city. Just castles, museums, and gardens like an extended dream or overdose.

I love everything you write, Mama.
Lovely.
And oh, words, especially mine, could never ever convey the place for one of my dearest friends, including your whole family, set aside in the deepest, most tender of all spots in my heart for you. What a blessing u are and forever will be, in my life. There have been countless times when I would just love to stay in my bed forever and give up. And then I hear your laugh, see your beautiful face, and hear your most insightful wisdom as you share and live your testimony, and love of the savior; and it's then I not only know I can continue on, but feel.and have complete joy in Heavenly Father's perfect plan for us all. Thank you my dear Erica, for the lessons you've taught and continue to teach me. Love you forever and ever.
And....you've inspired me to start blogging again. I can't forget the feelings throughout my dad's last several years.
oh i love this.
