March Coming in Like a Lion. Leaving Like a Lion Too.

I was in bed this morning and didn't want to get out to face the day. This month has beast written all over it. First off, I need to get my application squared away for an alternative path to licensure. I need to help Anne with a thousand little things for her finalizing German exchange application. I need to revise a story. Square away my graduation requirements. I have to read seven books very soon. I need to write a new story and a creative theory paper. My kids are going off track. Oh, and I'm running a half marathon later this month and Anne is going to Prom which I am absolutely clueless about what is expected. Can I just get the dress from Ross? Am I a bad mom if I don't pay 350 dollars? I don't know what to do. And on top of this, all of our family seems to be in emotional doldrums. I got home late last night and my children needed lots of emotional care. But if the phrase were for April, April Comes in Like a Lion and Goes out Like a Lamb. I would cheer. It would be true.

You have a lot on your plate! Good luck getting it all accomplished. I'm sure it will come together. It always seems to manage somehow. Take care of yourself and good luck with your run!

You didn't figure you were busy enough? So you added in a 1/2 marathon? You are crazy.

You will get it all done.

You amaze me.

Yes, check out Ross and TJ max. Wish I could sew. We could create something beautiful. It could be a gorgeous skirt and top. blah blah blah.

Sometimes I hate being the mother in law and the grandmother. Sometimes I just want to be in charge of everything! Forgive me.

I'm sorry, but we are NOT getting my prom dress at Ross. No arguments.

I could borrow Pam's old prom dress... The pink one with white lace all over it. And the poofy sleeves.

I don't think I needed any emotional care. I was just staring at the same spot on the wall for an hour.

I agree with Anne. Maybe not Ross. But not $350, either.

The sale racks at Dillard's sometimes have crazy deals that can turn out gorgeous, especially with some creativity and simple sewing.
