On Thursday, Charles and I drove all the way to Driggs, Idaho to get Maxwell from scout camp. We stopped at Maddox on the way up for fries and a shake. I was stunned by the beauty of Idaho and could even imagine myself living there. We stayed at the Shiloh Inn on the Snake River where I surfed the internet for Idaho cabins. Found one I'm going to buy too. It's a one room cabin for 60,000 and I think it is a great idea. Go manifest destiny!
Mainly it was just nice to be alone with my sweetheart for a couple days.
The reason we had to drive all the way up to Driggs, Idaho to retrieve Max was so that he would be present for the Plummer family pictures. Picture day was so lovely! It has been too long since we were all together. After pictures, we ate at Ruth's Diner. I'm telling you sitting under those trees with Anne, Spencer, and Ed and Dede was too perfect. It was a perfect day.
I had a nap when we got home. Am I the only person in America who takes naps?
We said our goodbyes to Anne who has gone to Germany. Is it sad that I am getting used to saying goodbye to her? When did I get used to letting her go? Anyway, I'm too proud for words and if you speak to me in person I'll probably go off about my daughter Anne and how cool she is.
On Sunday we went to see Sam and Sarah's new home in Millcreek. Wonderful, I tell you.

LOVE THESE PICTURES. Especially the one of you and me. We're so hot.
I love you, mama.
I read this week that naps are good for your brain. You are able to think more clearly after a nap. So there you go.
