Yesterday I went to the temple. I like to look into old ladies faces and have them tell me beautiful things. At home, I made corn chowder. When I was young my mother made corn
chowder regularly. Mom once admitted that the reason she always made corn chowder was because it's a cheap way to feed a family of 9. Now it reminds me of home. Potatoes, corn, and milk (and if you're feeling
luxurious, bacon!). My mother in law also makes corn chowder. We all left the house at 5 degrees so soup was a nice way to end the day.
Tonight I will do what I must and then watch some hard earned TV.
