A Weekend of Rest

My life is too busy. Lately I have been praying for rest. Just give me rest.

So this weekend was good to me. I probably watched forty hours of TV. No lie. Finished The Killing season 2, watched the Bachelor, watched The Carrie Diaries (I've always loved AnnaSophia Robb), some Modern Family and of course, Downton Abby. Then I tweaked away at my home decor and I got some things right. It looks so good, and I didn't even have to buy anything--just made some little adjustments for a big impact. Love it.

I read the Scarlet Letter too.

I cleaned my bedroom.

I slept and slept and slept.

I snuggled Mira.

I skipped sacrament meeting so that I could have an hour with Anne and Spencer.

Smiled at my boys once in while between their anime episodes.

Went to dinner with Charles.

And now I'm offering up thanks! Thank you world for a wonderful weekend!
