Late Night Crazies

Why is it that on the nights I absolutely must sleep in order to do what has to be done the next day, I can't. I've been up since 1:30 a.m. Boooo! But I did get caught up on all things internet. Facebook, blogs. I'm glad you all liked conference, got your haircut, are exited about tonight's "Extreme Makeover Home Edition," and arrived safely at your various destinations.

1st Issue of Worry: Harrison's back is killing him. Absolutely killing him. He needs to go to the doctor tomorrow, and there is no way I can skip work in order to take him. So. Hmmm. Charles, Tom, Louise, Anne....anyone?

2nd Issue of Worry: Student Led Conferences are this week; I'm printing grades today and Crap! A lot of them aren't doing so great which means I'm going to be stuck talking to a gazillion parents about why their kids grade sucks.

3rd Issue of Worry: My own kid's grades suck as well. So I will be heading to the High School's Parent Teacher Conferences to bother some other teacher about my kid's grade. "What's wrong with you? How come my kid is getting a bad grade in your class?" (If that's what parents say to me, I can say it too, right?)

4th Issue of Worry: I didn't sleep worth crap.

5th Issue of Worry: I don't want to miss my workout this morning even though I really should try to go back to sleep or go into work early.

6th Issue of Worry: Our weekend trip to Moab is rapidly shrinking.

7th Issue of Worry: I'm turning into my mother with all this worrying.

8th Issue of Worry: This blog post will never freaking end.

Erica, I'm on day 3 of teaching Honors sophomores, and it's kicking my booty. How do you do it? I'm so tired. Tired like I've never been before. That sounds like a song. Anyhoo, forget working out, right?

I do love it, though--teaching, not working out:)

Thanks for Thinkfinity; it's a great resource. Have a good week.

Erica, why didn't you call about Harrison? I'm reading this a day late. Has he been? We could take him tomorrow after two.

back pain sucks.

OK, Erica, I'm just sending you some additional resources I've found useful. You probably have enough, but just in case...

Also, this one too. It's reference for all university writing centers.
