This little graphic is posting waaay smaller than I thought, so get out your magnifying glass and take a look, especially you Daybreakers.
This Summer I wanted to do two things. 1)Reconnect with the neighbor ladies and 2)workout. I worked out like crazy, sometimes going to 2-3 classes a day. The two things ended up happening together. I'd zumba, spin, pump or bootcamp and waa laa--I felt like I had friends again, like I knew what was going on with people around me, like I'd poked my head out of my turtle shell. (I know it is hard to believe because I appear so outgoing, but I have a very shy, socially-awkward side, and am generally socially nervous.) I blame the really mean friends I had in elementary school. Seriously, you couldn't just eat lunch with me? You had to call me "crusty" just because I farted really loud that one time?
But, I digress.
Even though I worked out like crazy, I didn't see one pound loss. Every day I get on the scale and it says 135 weather it's before or after I pee. And I'll just be honest, I would love to be 120 pounds again and fit into a size four, although I'm not sure I'll see the day.
My muscles did take shape though, and I feel strong and alive, like I could kick some serious a--. I'm addicted to the workout high. Now that school is starting up I don't want to go back to being Mrs. Sedentary again, but in order to do this and go to the classes (which I love), I will have to wake up at five, get ready for school, workout, leaving me ten minutes to shower, dress, and make-up before driving to the job.
The question is. Can I do it? If so, you should probably just start calling me "Marvelous."
You can see my proposed personal schedule above. As in, I would go to all of those classes. I workout at the DCC and Breathe Yoga studio. I'd love to see my daybreak friends there with me. Plus, they just lowered the prices for group fitness to 25 per month.
See you at the sweat shop!
And here's some of my favorite workout images.

Glad to see you're posting so much. I may need your advise for my long-term teaching job for a 10th grade Honors English class. Do you have any good resources for teaching Julius Caesar and Huck Finn?
The reason I even posted a comment is because your workout regimen is inspiring me. By chance, are those Les Mills classes? If so, I'm already addicted. We always go to the gym off of Highland, X-Cel Fitness, when we're visiting Utah.
Katy, I heard that Les Mills classes are awesome, but I have never tried them. Next time your in town, let's go!
Try www.thinkfinity.com for good teaching stuff. I've never taught Huck Finn or Julius Ceasar, but I always go to thinkfinity first.
You farted in junior high?
Well.
You motivate me to get off of my lazy blogstocking bum. Thanks for the good post!Love you!!
