I had tons to do today. But my iphone forecast said that I get one sunny day. That’s it. Take it or leave it. One sunny day.
We went to Pam’s pool and I didn’t think about needing to go to Costco or piles of laundry.
Mira jumped on the trampoline, Harrison and Max had swimming competitions. I jumped off the diving board. Anne sat on a lounge and facebooked. We begged her—Come play with us Anne! Jump in! We’ll catch you!
She was wearing her oh so cute blue and white bikini. She jumped in the water and said it was cold. They keep the pool at 83 degrees. Teenagers are so damn skinny.
Once in the pool Anne became the queen of fun. Let’s play the color game! Let’s play Marco Polo! She brings us together.
Pam told me the stories of her life and laughed at all of them. Boo eats Cassidy’s freshly no-bake cookies. Pam gets attached to Lindsay’s boyfriends only to have Lindsay break up with them. Heading to girls camp in a week of rain. Ha ha. She laughs. Ha ha. I laugh too. Life’s a lot of rainy days. Ha ha.
We drank root beet and ate Chips Ahoy and swam until our stomach were sick.
We came home sunburned.
Anne went off on her date with darling Will.
Mira watched What a Girl Wants.
Harrison and Max and I fell asleep on my bed.
