Hate Crime

Months back I told my children that enough was enough and that their gay jokes had to stop. You know the jokes, those seemingly harmless jokes, but are actually a way to demean the other and maintain ones position of power. I have reprimanded my children and their friends for these comments. And thanks to Curt, they see the wisdom in this and have made a commitment to stop. I visited Chelsea's blog and read the post Highs and Lows. Everyone should take a visit and then make a commitment to never, ever harm gays again--even if it's only words.
