Note to Self

It is very important to spell "principal" correctly. Especially when you are sending a principal an email requesting an English teaching job. "Principle" would be an incorrect spelling.

I just giggled. What a fear that all teachers have, speaking from experience!! I am an anal spell checker with anything school related ever since college when my professors put the fear of God in us about our misspellings as educators.

It can be a problem unless you are talking to the principal about principles of education.

one time, i was applying for a tutoring job. and i found three misspellings on my way to drop off my resume...

...i asked some random old woman who lived next to the school if i could use her printer and computer.
